On 12 September 2018, CATC’s WISE programming held a “Future of Tech is Female” community event, bringing together more than 40 Charlotte-based organizations to share their collective missions and activities, and discuss the current and future needs women in technology. eFiTT is a free monthly middle school program led by CATC partners where students can learn more about IT. In January 2019, CATC partnered with SealedAir (https://sealedair.com/) to present a panel discussion about the 12 Habits That Hold Women Back, based on the book “How Women Rise: Break the 12 Habits Holding You Back from Your Next Raise, Promotion, or Job,” by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith.
